As though they are

I was reminded of this Word through a Daily Grace Inspirations (words in italics) which my faithful, beloved friend had sent me. It was the same Word God spoke to me last fall and which I shared with her. Call those things which are not as though they are. But I stopped doing it.

I know why. It made me feel like I was delusional. But I know the things of God, the way of God are so different from the worlds. I can't look to the world to understand and experience the Kingdom of God.

"...God, who gives life to the dead
and calls those things
which do not exist
as though they did;"
~Romans 4:17

"God’s way is to call those things that are not as though they are. And because you are made in God’s image, you can also call those things that are not as though they are!"

What follows this verse is one of my favorite passages in the Bible; words that I admire Abraham for and hope to live them out as well:

"[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone,
hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations,
as he had been promised,
So [numberless] shall your descendants be.
He did not weaken in faith
when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body,
which was as good as dead
because he was about a hundred years old,
or [when he considered]
the barrenness of Sarah’s [deadened] womb.
No unbelief or distrust made him waver
(doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God,
but he grew strong and was empowered by faith
as he gave praise and glory to God,
Fully satisfied and assured that
God was able and mighty
to keep His word
and to do what He had promised."
~Romans 4:18-21 AMP

Lord, as You had changed Abrams name to Abraham "Father of Many Nations"; every time his name was called that promise was called forth. Same with Jesus. "He didn’t see the way it was in the natural. He saw the way God meant it to be and He called it forth." Father, I ask that I too, would be able to call forth things, promises You gave. May I hope in faith. May I not weaken in faith when I consider my circumstances. Let no unbelief or distrust make me waver, doubtingly question Your promises. But may I grow strong and be empowered by faith as I give praise and glory to You, oh God. May I be fully satisfied and assured that You are able and mighty to keep Your word and to do what You had promised.

"Genesis 1 tells us that in the beginning, there was darkness over the face of the whole earth. God saw the darkness and He said, “Light be!” And light was. God called forth what He wanted and it became so! If it had been me or you, we would probably have said, “Whoa! It is so dark!”"

"It is pointless to state the obvious. So change the way you talk. See the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth your healing and wholeness!"

Call it forth!

Keep CZECHING IN!
